September 2: Full Moon in Pisces
Full Moon in Pisces - Sept 1-2, 2020 10:23 PM PT // 12:23 AM CT // 1:23 AM ET
This Full Moon, as we know, is a time of celebration, reflection, and completion. It's a time for self-love and appreciation. It's a moment of gratitude for all of the things we've been given, have earned, and have worked hard to create since the New Moon. The Full Moon helps illuminate the truth in our lives, expand our ways of thinking, and clear any remaining fog on our path.
This cycle, our Full Moon is in the sign of Pisces. The Sun and Moon oppose one another at the full moon, so we're looking at a Virgo vs. Pisces opposition. Finite, concrete reality vs. Infinite, intuitive ether. The energy of Pisces may have us in a dark, murky, and emotional headspace (stuck in ALL the feels,) but thankfully the practical energy of Virgo should help us to stay grounded in reality, even if it feels like we have to fight to keep our grasp on logical thinking.
Pisces has come to remind us to consider our spiritual and emotional states. If they've been left by the wayside recently, this is your opportunity to release any negative habits around your spiritual and emotional hygiene practices (or lack thereof!) We're being called to find balance in our lives right now between the energies of Virgo and Pisces. This means finding ways to identify and express your spiritual/emotional needs while maintaining order and progress in your everyday lives. If one of these energies is unbalanced in your lives, you'll know it when you see it: it's either excessive orderliness or chaos.

August 18: New Moon in Leo
Each lunar cycle, we're reborn. We have a fantastic opportunity to align with our intentions during the New Moon and integrate our experiences from the last cycle into our lives. This work rejuvenates our souls, so we are ready to dive back in with the beginning of a new cycle. We're called to consciously clear away any obstructions to our dreams, get clear on our intentions, and ask for divine assistance in making them a reality. This time is incredibly meditative and introspective. It's the perfect time of the lunar cycle to journal, meditate, create art, and connect with your inner and spiritual self. It is also an excellent time to release ideas, thoughts, beliefs, and ways of being that no longer serve us on our path.
This New Moon is in the sign of Leo. When the Moon is in Leo, it's an excellent time to focus on goals and intentions that mesh well with Leo's energy. For example, it's an amazing time to concentrate on ways to enhance our hobbies and creative endeavors, spice up our romantic lives, and maybe most importantly, focusing on building up our self-confidence and developing a healthy sense of pride in ourselves. This New Moon is the perfect time for indulging in Leo Season's energy by giving yourself the royal treatment re: self-care. Additionally, focusing on any passion projects you've yet to start will honor Leo's energy during this moon cycle. Leo aims to teach us the importance of assuming responsibility in our lives, giving of ourselves generously to others, and taking pride in our souls' uniqueness.
This New Moon is the perfect time to meditate upon Leo energy, and how it shows up in your life. Leo is an incredibly expressive fire sign, which can be described as proud, generous, warm, authoritative, caring, noble, and open to life. Where in your life can you start to cultivate these energies more fully? How could you improve your life by incorporating some of these things into your personality? When setting your intentions for this New Moon, take into consideration the lessons of this sign. Leo energy calls you to improve in these areas, to express your inner-child, and express yourself creatively without shame or restriction.

August 11: Last Quarter Moon in Taurus
Last Quarter Moon in Taurus August 11, 2020 9:47 AM PT // 11:47 AM CT // 12:47 PM ET
The Last Quarter Moon is the final stage of the lunar cycle. The intentions you set during the New Moon are completing their journey, and making their way into your reality. This time is all about transition, reorientation, and completion. It's the best time in the Moon Cycle to take closing action, follow-up, and complete all the activities that began at the New Moon phase. This is also a time to release, surrender, and reflect on all you have learned from this lunar cycle.
During the Waning Phase, this is a good time to find significance and deeper meaning in your life experiences, as this is a deeply reflective moment of the lunar cycle. This is the perfect time to go inward and discover what the Moon has been showing you over the course of this cycle. Some questions you can ask yourself are:
- ”what do I need to do to nurture my manifestations?”
- “What outdated limitations or patterns have shown up that I broke through during this cycle?”
- “How can I sustain my growth in the coming cycle?”
- “Do I have a support system in place to help me handle the changes I'm experiencing?"
This Last Quarter Moon is in the sign of Taurus. When the Moon is in Taurus, we want to really be in our bodies, and enjoy every sensation of our five senses. This sign brings out our capacity to really enjoy our lives on earth instead of yearning for some other heavenly plane of existence! This is the time to really make yourself comfortable and cozy, listen to some beautiful music, enjoy some delicious food, and move your body in a way that feels really, really good. Or, if you’re feeling truly exhausted, take a really long, luxurious nap! Anything you can do to please the senses during this time will be beneficial to your being. Also, Taurus is known as the “slow mover” of the zodiac, so honor this sign by really savoring every delicious moment of existence during this moon.

August 3: Full Moon in Aquarius
Full Moon in Aquarius - August 3rd, 2020 8:58 AM PT // 11:58 AM ET // 10:58 AM CT
This Full Moon, as we know, is a time of celebration, reflection, and completion. It’s a time for self-love and appreciation for all the things we’ve been given, have earned, and have worked hard to create since the beginning of the cycle during the New Moon. Also, the Full Moon helps illuminate the truth in our lives, expand our ways of thinking, and clear any remaining fog on our path.
This cycle, our Full Moon is in the sign of Aquarius. A Full Moon occurs when the Sun is in opposition to the moon. In this case, the Sun is in Leo. The Leo Sun is intensely individual and proud. Leo is definitely not about being part of the team or focusing on communal growth. The Aquarius Moon -- while also quite individualistic and values independence -- heavily values teams, groups, and the collective. The Full Moon illuminates this emotional conflict for us in our lives, and where in our charts we have Leo and Aquarius influences.
As a reminder, the July 20th New Moon in Cancer was opposite Saturn, which may have caused some restrictions and even hardship over the last couple of weeks in pursuing your goals. A serious attitude and hard work were needed, as well as deep focus, determination, and persistence. This Full Moon in Aquarius is square Uranus. This energy will likely bring us unexpected changes that could be emotionally upsetting or cause our lives to feel unsteady. Keeping an open mind and fully surrendering to this universal shake-up will help you adapt to the changes more quickly, plus keep you open to new or exciting opportunities that now have the space to manifest in your life. In addition, Mercury opposition Saturn, which happens simultaneously with the Full Moon, makes the changes caused by this Uranus aspect a little more challenging to deal with. You’re being called at this time to have deep patience and a positive attitude as much as possible.

July 27 First Quarter Waxing Moon in Scorpio
First Quarter Moon in Scorpio - July 27th 5:33 AM PT// 8:33 AM ET // 7:33 AM CT
The First Quarter Moon, as you may well know, is a time for taking action after getting super, crystal clear on our vision during the New Moon. As the moon progresses towards fullness, issues may come up for you that require adjusting to your plans or taking decisive and inspired action. The First Quarter Moon is when problems with any of your plans should be addressed, and any wrinkles should be ironed out.
This moon cycle, our First Quarter Moon is in the sign of Scorpio. When the moon is in Scorpio, the energy shifts around us to one of mystery, seduction, passion, and deep emotion. Scorpio motivates us to take a deep dive into our darker sides and swim around in the murky waters of our subconscious and soul. With the Moon in Scorpio, we crave deep connections and conversations, and are likely to get annoyed with small talk and anything that feels superficial. Watch your reactions to things, as your words may cut a little deeper than usual.
Unraveling the puzzles of our soul starts to sound like the most fun activity we could possibly engage in! During this Scorpionic period, it’s honestly better to be alone than with someone you’re out of sync with and can’t go deep with. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself annoyed with personal relationships and partners who don’t want to go to the same depths with you. That being said, the Moon in Scorpio can be a deeply intimate and passionate time, so take advantage of this by making time for some sexual exploration, solo or otherwise.

July 20: New Moon in Cancer
New Moon in Cancer, July 20, 2020 10:33 AM PT/1:33 PM ET/12:33 PM CT
Welcome to the second New Moon in Cancer this year! *yayyyy…..tears*
This New Moon in Cancer is the first that hasn’t been an eclipse since 2017! While this makes it a more “regular” New Moon, it does have a tight opposition to Saturn, which still makes its energy a little challenging to work with. During this new Moon, you may feel really fired up to start super fresh due to some mars/mercury influences happening right now, but this New Moon is very moody and even melancholic. It has a “serious” vibe and almost “heavy” energy that may feel somewhat restrictive. It wants us to honor the limits we have to work within and to work with patience, determination, and persistence towards our goals.

July 4: Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn
The moon becomes full in the sign of Capricorn at 13 degrees, at 9:44 PM PT/July 5, 2020 12:44 AM ET/July 4, 2020 11:44 PM CT.
As we may very well know, the Full Moon is a time of celebration, reflection, and completion. It’s a time for self-love and appreciation for all the things we’ve been given, have earned, and have worked hard to create since the beginning of the cycle during the New Moon.
And, since the start of June, we have been walking through the Eclipse Gateway *cue mystical sound effects*
During this time, we’ve been shown flickers of a new reality. We’ve been shown what needs to be released, not just from within ourselves, but from the planet and society as a whole. This is the work we’ve been tasked with to make this new reality, well, reality.
